Future India Trust – What is our vision?

GET INVOLVED

Given our studies, we have realised that if you care enough about the situation of our country or our own locality for even that matter, there are enough to change it, to do something, YOU CAN,
Like all of us, if even you got upset to see the problems in the system around us. Unlike most of others, we need to do something about it. To enable a lasting change, all it takes is to stand up for what is the right thing to do.

We need to binds us is the belief that “Change is possible, but only when we make it possible.” It is this zeal that will help to come together for what is right.
Each of you can get involved by contributing your time, talent, skills and dedication to bring a change in the system. Your commitment forms the core of this indigenous movement. Let us make a difference in others life. If we can’t be SUN in someone’s life at least we will try to be a lamp.

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly end-less ”

Be an Educate
Educate, simply put is to ‘raise voice against wrong things’. Educated does not mean holding a degree from reputed university, it means being sensible to react against what happening around us. Being educated and citizens of this country we have all rights to raise voice against wrong things around us. This small awareness among us will definitely change our country. And for any change on a significant scale, it will require each one of us to start thinking of our country, not as object of some one asking you to do, but as citizens with the same rights that we consider our due. You do not require any great mission or vision to stand up for what you think is the right thing to do, say, feel, or share.
At FIG, being a part of it means – to intensify the voice at wrongs things around you.
We invite you to join us by truly involving and committing yourself in this movement to put country first and bring a small change and see how our FUTURE INDIA looks.
Know the problem
FIG, simply put is to ‘intensify voice’. At FIG, being a part of it means – to stand up against the wrong.
We invite you to join us in this movement to change our country by changing ourselves first.

What you can do:’
• Ask yourself – in your home, your neighbourhood, what they think about the small change that they can bring in the system you live.
• Highlight the issues in your discussions at work and home
• Start talking about the change you can bring in the system you live.
• Talk to Other people who think in the same direction and get an understanding of complexities involved in the issues.

Think about the problem
What you can do:
• Try looking at the issue in the system as a citizen of India. Think of the minor and major issues that need to be addressed around you. Be a part of the system in changing it, rather than blaming it for what it is today. Don’t blame the system, become the part of the system. If you are not part of solution then you are the problem.
• Think about what is in the long-term best interests of your Country – your own house surroundings, your road, your layout, your locality, your city, your state and finally our country. Think up opportunities you can see to change the system around you.
• Sit with your family and work on a small issue that you can bring in a change. Initiate a productive discussion with your family, relatives and friends what they feel about the issue.

Act towards problem
What you can do:
• Sport the ‘I stand to bring a change in the system’ badge and spread the word.
• Know the issues around us and come up with different solutions and adopt the best one to resolve it.
• Start by taking a walk down roads of your layout or to the government school or health centre in your neighbourhood and see what you can do to change the situation. May be you and a few of your friends from the neighbourhood could get together and make it a more friendly environment.
• Stand up with and for any people who is fighting for similar issues and trying to bring a change in the system.
• Stop and chat with your neighbours on the street/layout about something that he/she really cares about.
• Try looking at the world through the eyes of a citizen of our country, as a shareholder of the country. Try thinking your country as you home and try to bring changes like you want at your home.
• Say no to the wrong things around you.
• Get the organisation you work with to do an in-house campaign to get employees to contribute time, money or skills.
• Lastly, give a thought. Give a shoulder. Give anything you can to this movement for changing our country. And most of all give up your indifference.

FUTURE INDIA TRUST – My dream

fit

Idea behind the trust is to help the poor people, orphanages and old age institutions, so that their standard of living improves and their basic amenities are fulfilled. It also aims to paint or dream about the FUTURE INDIA, i.e. build the future of our country… How my country should look like. This trust is for those people who want to do the social service and facing difficulties in finding the right institutions and also to people who wants to do the social service and not finding the right people to join with. We help you in finding the right institutions and people who need your help, so that we all can bring a change in their lives, a small change. Let us all take this small initiative and try to bring a small change and make a big difference.

Idea behind naming this institution as FUTURE INDIA TRUST is to define the points in changing and building the FUTURE INDIA. When we say changing ‘INDIA’, we know it is really difficult job on our hand. But lets think practically, is it possible to change this BIG country? yes!. And next question we have to answer is ‘How’. We agree its a difficult question to be answered when we say how to change this country. But any problem has a solution to it, some problems have straight forward answers, whereas some needs a thought process to be applied to solve the problem, depending on the complexity involved. Similarly’ changing INDIA’ is a complex problem. So how do we tackle a complex problem? It is similar to a big rock. If we want to move a big rock and find it difficult to move it in a single truck, simple solution is, break it into pieces and move it in different trucks. It is as simple as this, break the problem into pieces, and find solution to each piece.

So let us break the problem now, Changing INDIA is a big problem, now lets think we have broken the big problem into smaller ones, like changing state, still it is big one to be resolved, next level is changing our city, still we can break it in to smaller ones, like our area, more smaller one is your layout or locality, still smaller will be changing our road, the next smallest would be your house. Yes now we have come to the smallest level where we can solve the problem. The smallest ever that we could solve is ourselves. Now we got where the problem lies in changing our country. So we can conclude, to change our country, we have to change individually. Then try to change your family. Once you do this you are half done. Changing ourselves and our family would be the most difficult part for this problem. Once you successfully come out of your house, next level is to change people of our road, and then people of our layout, then out area, then our city, then our state and then finally our Country. Oh! its a long journey, but one thing we should understand is ‘I’ cant change our country or state, or city or area or layout or road. I can only change myself and my family and come out of it and stand. So what I meant is only ‘WE’ can change our country. I.e. think by the time you change yourself and our family and come out on road to change our road, other should also come out of their house by changing themselves and their family. So everyone is out of house to change the road. So that is what i meant the problem is half solved. Only thing left out would be to change the mindset of people who are still at home and start walking at our destiny that is changing our area, city, state, and finally our country. So the most difficult part of changing our country would be the changing of ourselves and our family member’s mindset.

So let’s start this assignment of breaking the problem and solving the smaller version of the problem i.e. our self. This is one of the vision and mission to see how our ‘FUTURE INDIA’ will look after this. The next one is to make a difference in others life. If you can’t be SUN in someone’s life at least try to be a lamp.
